Abstract

Oral-History.Digital is a curation and research platform for scholarly collections of audio-visually recorded narrative interviews, which went online in September 2023. In line with the FAIR principles, the interview portal makes the previously scattered collections of oral history interviews findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable. The article first outlines oral history interviews as data type in their diverse contexts of creation, curation and research. Then, it outlines the most important objectives, functionalities and perspectives of Oral-History.Digital.
